    • 25g of 100% Isolate: Generally goes through a defined filtration process yielding a higher content of protein: 90% protein, or higher. Because of this, it contains less lactose and fat than normal whey concentrate.

Once a protein source reaches your stomach, hydrochloric acid and enzymes called proteases to break it down into smaller chains of amino acids.     HOW DOES CROSS FLOW MICRO FILTRATION WORK?

    • Isolate will be a more expensive form of protein because of the way it is processed. Cold processed and Cross Flow Micro-filtration allows for minimal amounts of fat and lactose in the product.  

      The protein in Post ISO has been filtered using the extremely advanced cross-flow micro-filtration technology to minimize fat, cholesterol, lactose and carbohydrates. The result is a superior form of protein allowing for improved performance and lean muscle gains.

    CROSS FLOW MICRO FILTRATION VS. HYDROLYZED PROTEIN

    People have asked why not use the Hydrolysis method because it absorbs faster than crossflow. This is true. Hydrolyzed isolates are "predigested", meaning they can saturate and begin work faster. Here is the issue . . . Hydrolyzed whey is considered "predigested" because the product has already been partially broken down through the use of chemicals vs. the natural process of cross-flow microfiltration. Hydrolyzed whey also increases the oxidation of amino acids. The fast absorption rate causes the body to increase the rate that it breaks down amino acids for energy. This could lead to loss of lean muscle mass. Lastly, the absorption rate between the natural cross-flow micro-filtration and hydrolyzed whey process is minimal for a bodybuilder or athlete. Adding digestive enzymes to maximize absorption rate improves lean muscle gains.*
